BREAKFAST ESSENTIALS

Carnation Breakfast Essentials is a nutritional drink made for kids and teenagers who need a quick, healthy, and easy breakfast. I decided to pull the old design away from the dated early 2000’s font and color palette and bring it towards something more modern and fun.
OLD PACKAGING
I made sure each bottle featured its own color palette to reflect the flavor and create clear differentiation on shelf—something the old boxes lacked, as they all shared the same yellow color across flavors and types (ex: high protein vs. regular), which made the lineup feel less dynamic and didn’t highlight the unique qualities of each variant. Using distinct colors helps convey product differences instantly and improves overall visual impact.

PACKAGING MOODBOARD
Each flavor’s wrapper has a cartoon animal on it with a corresponding pun on the side, encouraging audiences to enjoy looking at the product. Unlike in the original packaging, the wrapper doesn’t cover the drink/mix, so people can see it clearly. This appeals to the customer’s sense of taste and builds trust; positively influencing the decision to purchase.
